Our Mission

Ordinary people. Practical action. Extraordinary impact.

Pickups for Peace delivers vehicles and life-saving aid directly to communities across Ukraine. We exist to turn compassion into practical help.

Founded in February 2023, Pickups for Peace is a Scottish charity rooted in compassion and collective action. When ordinary people unite with purpose, practical help can travel a very long way.

Why we exist

Our mission is simple: get useful help where it is needed.

Pickups for Peace sources, prepares and delivers four-wheel-drive vehicles, pickups, vans, ambulances and practical aid to Ukraine through volunteer-led convoys.

Each vehicle is part of a bigger story: donors, drivers, fundraisers, families and supporters working together so practical support can keep moving.

This is direct, human, useful help. One vehicle at a time.

What we do

A practical mission, powered by people.

The model is direct and simple: source what is useful, prepare it carefully, and deliver it through volunteer convoys.

1

Source

We work with supporters to source suitable vehicles, equipment and practical supplies that can be put to use.

2

Prepare

Vehicles are checked, packed and prepared before joining a convoy journey towards Ukraine.

3

Deliver

Volunteer convoy teams drive across Europe to deliver vehicles and aid directly to Ukraine.

Support across Parliament

Recognising the practical difference vehicles can make.

Pickups for Peace has received support from MPs across the political spectrum, recognising the value of practical vehicle and aid donations for Ukraine.

Having been out in Ukraine just before Christmas, visiting operations in Lviv, I have seen first-hand the levels of support the Ukrainian people urgently require. I hope that you will all support their continued efforts by donating second hand vehicles and supplies to Pickups for Peace, which will make a significant difference to this worthwhile cause.

We have all watched with horror the unjustified attack on western democracy being played out against the Ukrainian people. Having recently witnessed the situation first hand we must all do what we can to support the Ukrainian people. Please provide whatever support you can to Pickups for Peace, a UK based initiative which is trying to deliver second-hand four wheel drive vehicles, loaded with supplies to Ukraine.
The P4P family

It only works because people step forward.

Every convoy is made possible by people who decide to help: by donating, driving, fundraising, preparing vehicles, sharing the story or encouraging others to get involved.

Not everyone can make the journey, but everyone can play a part.
