Join a convoy

Bring a vehicle. Join the convoy. Deliver practical help.

Most convoy drivers bring or source the vehicle they will drive. Occasionally, we may need additional drivers, but the greatest need is usually for people who can provide a suitable vehicle and take it on the journey themselves.

The clearest way to take part

Donate or source a vehicle, then drive it yourself.

For many people, joining a convoy starts with a vehicle. That might be a 4x4, pickup, van or another suitable vehicle that can be donated, prepared and driven to Ukraine.

This helps Pickups for Peace in the most practical way: it brings both the vehicle and the driver together, ready for the journey.

If you are thinking about sourcing, donating or driving a vehicle, please get in touch and we can talk you through what may be suitable.

A note about driver places.

We do keep a list of people who may be able to drive, but we do not often have spare vehicles that simply need a driver.

Most people joining a convoy are driving a vehicle they have donated, sourced or helped to fund. Additional driver opportunities do happen, but they are limited.

Ways to be involved

There is more than one way to support a convoy.

The strongest support often comes from people who combine practical action with fundraising, vehicle sourcing and careful preparation.

1

Bring a vehicle

Source or donate a suitable vehicle and talk to us about joining the convoy that will deliver it.

2

Support the costs

Help fund fuel, travel, preparation and practical convoy costs that make each journey possible.

3

Offer to drive

Occasionally we may need additional drivers. These opportunities are limited, but we are happy to hear from people who may be available.
